Welcome! My name is Marci Snead, and my husband Brian and I own Affinity Dogs, also fondly known as "We-spoil-em" kennel, here in Charlotte, N.C.

I started showing dogs at the age of 16 when my sister, Lynn, gave me my first showdog, Destiny's Golden Deception. Desti was a beautiful Golden Retriever who, unfortunately, had his life cut short due to uncontrollable seizures.

Brian and I met in the fourth grade and married right out of high school. Brian had a Dachshund growing up and he loved Desti as much as I did while we dated. But he'll tell you he had no idea what he was getting himself into when we married! Since then, he has graciously grown to accept that our lives will never be without a pack of dogs. He loves them all as much as I do, even the little hairless ones!

Over the last 24 years, Brian, our three children and I have loved, raised & shown Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, Siberian Huskies, Chinese Cresteds and now Afghan Hounds. I don't think we could ever be involved with just one breed, as they all have qualities we admire and love. We are most active in the Chinese Crested and Afghan Hound communities as I currently serve as President of the Tar Heel Chinese Crested Club and am a Board Member of the Carolina Afghan Hound Club.
